The Turner Bridge Club, we believe, was formed over 60 years ago, when a lady called Mrs Topsy Turner came from London to live in Lymington and was unable to find a local Bridge Club that played Acol. She had previously played Acol in a London Bridge Club but as no-one in Lymington had heard of Acol, she decided to start a club herself.

Lymington is a Georgian market town renowned as a sailing resort and situated on the west bank of the Lymington River on the Solent in the New Forest of Hampshire.

We are a very friendly, Acol playing, non EBU affiliated Bridge Club who play regularly twice a week, at the Lymington Community Centre.
